Westlake’s 2025 State of the City Address Brings Business and Community Leaders Together

The West Shore Chamber of Commerce hosted the 2025 State of the City Address on February 4, 2025, at Carrabba’s Italian Grill in Westlake. The event brought together business leaders, local officials, and community representatives to hear Mayor Dennis Clough’s annual address, outlining Westlake’s priorities for the year ahead.

During the event, Mayor Clough swore in the entire West Shore Chamber Board for 2025, including four newly elected board members:

  • Dr. Scott Latiolais – President, Westshore Campus, Cuyahoga Community College
  • Joe Jasko – Vice President of Sales, CCSI
  • Cristina Bertero – Founder & VP of Sales, Fully Promoted Cleveland
  • Karen Sperli – Owner, Padgett Business Services

These leaders bring diverse expertise that will help the Chamber continue to support local businesses, foster economic growth, and strengthen partnerships with the community.

Mayor Clough’s address focused on Westlake’s ongoing growth, economic development, and commitment to recreation, highlighting planned enhancements to the Westlake Recreation Center pool as a key priority for 2025.

The Chamber also introduced the newly selected Mr. and Mrs. Westlake and announced the launch of the Chamber’s new website, a major step in modernizing communication, expanding resources, and increasing visibility for local businesses.

Looking Ahead: Chamber Events & Initiatives

The Chamber remains focused on expanding membership, creating business opportunities, and increasing exposure for businesses in Westlake, Bay Village, and the surrounding Westshore communities.
